I saw the graphics and it was like HOW..... ah it just looked amazing and not just you know that they made it high res, everything looked totally different, but i don't think i can justify to myself buying it for that price not when i've already finished it.
I have the exact same dilemma on my hand with this. I've played it on my 360 on launch (Sold the 360 2 weeks after i finished the game). I was not really satisfied with the total end of GTA5. It felt empty after i finished it. I did the random missions (The question marks i remember). Almost everything while still on the main mission line.
After the end game i tried to the pick the game up again, but couldnt get any satisfied to play again
The game itself with missions and all is bloody great, i don't say its a bad game.
The problem is i'm not going to buy the game at this price to get a multiplayer experience and some upped graphics. Is it that worth it?

Re: GTA 5
Price is an overkill (just like the Witcher 3 but I'll get it anyway!).
I got it a while ago and I try to get myself around it. I mostly spend time on optimization for now, so that I can get a stable 40fps on somewhat maxed out settings without any stupid stuttering. The game feels really poorly optimized, but at the same time it's so beautiful !
Apparently single player is quite fun to go through, but I mostly look forward to the multi-player. If there's going to be more people from THG playing the game, maybe we could think of something more organized.
Also here's My character !
So far the biggest achievement was beating up some guys on the beach and dying in a middle of the ocean xD. But hey, one of them had 2k $ with him... why would you take so much money on the beach!

Re: GTA 5
Deepblue686 is mine.
I haven't started online yet since I don't have anyone to do it with
But I was about to create my character.
He showed up at the creation screen with black lines all over him :?
I get no graphical glitches in regular GTA5 so I don't know what the hell.
Dunno if I'll ever do the actual gameplay, I may just play with you guys just to screw around.
There are glitches like 6 players in tow trucks attaching to each other in a ring which I'd love to try myself.

Re: GTA 5
How are people enjoying this? I bought it pre-owned on 360 shortly after release but got distracted by other things, keep meaning to go back to it.
I'll probably pick up the PC version at some point in the future once it's heavily discounted in a sale, if only for the first-person mode. How are people finding that, in particular? :)

Re: GTA 5
To be honest I stopped mostly for now, to replay previous games of The Witcher, since it's been soo many years and now that TW3 is out, I thought it would be a good moment to do so xD.
First person mode... FPP feels very realistic, far more realistic compared to any other game I played until now. They've put a lot of effort to make you feel like you really look with your character's eyes,
and that includes every disadvantage too, so it backfires as it's a bit clunky and uncomfortable in combat. Adding to this, last time I checked, mouse sensitivity was still messed up
( basically it differs depending on how much FPS do you have in game and lags quite a lot! xD Check this out ) This + very small fov, makes it unplayable for me in every situation other than
exploring beauty of Los Santos (and there's a lot to explore *-*), so I stick with TPP for the most of time.

Re: GTA 5
Thanks for the detailed response Amelia!
That's a shame about the FoV, that would make it uncomfortable for me to play too, I think. I wonder if it can be modded to a wider angle?
Hopefully they will fix the mouse sensitivity being frame-rate dependent, that would be very annoying too!
Guess I'll see how patches and/or mods change the game by the time a good sale comes along :)
Why would you even install mods on a multiplayer game and not expect to be banned anyway?
Maybe if you install mods, they apply to whole game altogether, not just single player, so it's all about staying offline?
I don't know how it works really, Besides people got banned for a fov FIX, can't really look at it as a cheat and I can
understand why for some players, such minor thing can be game breaking. As well as I understand why such minor thing could get them banned, because for them
mod is a mod, no matter if it's meant to fix things Rockstar didn't. You can read all the sour in negative reviews on the Store Page .

Re: GTA 5
Hmm....
First few reviews are rating the game quite highly and saying being banned for singleplayer mods is bullshit.
However, they also mention, if you have a .dll injector, you should turn it off before you go online.
As one review says "It won't magically stop working when you go online".
Most of the FoV mods are probably .dll injectors.
Hacking the game is done exactly the same way, hence why injectors are banned.
So if you are using a .dll injector, either remember to turn it off when you go online or remove it altogether.

Re: GTA 5
I played this game a long time ago on the PS3. It was a cool experience and there is a lot to find, especially when you have the urge to 100% everything (like me).
The online mode didn't really get me hooked, though. Did one or two heists after the update came out just as the PC version released, but still. I pretty much did everything there is in the game so I won't get it for PC.
Definately a recommendation from me, if that didn't shine through what I just said.
