Yeh i might try a d10 hack seeing as i installed vista and remembered why i hated it sooo much *sigh* damn microsoft ]=
Crappy interface
Lack of drivers
May i go on?
Anyway i get about 50-80 fps on crysis max d9, gunfights go down to about 20-50, i imagine d10 would kill it tho ill have to see if i get the chance.

What're you guys playing your games on?
<snip>... and I run TF2 at 1280x1024 at full settings [/quote]
Hey D4rk,
ROFLMAO... Okay, watch me throw away any respect I might have had here:
CPU: AMD Athlon 2500+ (that's 1833MHz single-core)
RAM: 1.5gb DDR-400
GFX: ATI Radeon x1650 Pro 256mb AGP
MoBo: ASRock K7S8X, Onboard AC'97 audio
Windows XP Home 32 bit, 250gb IDE HDD
I play TF2 at 1024x768 with everything on low except texture quality (medium) and AA which is set to 2xMSAA because jaggies look awful. TF2 defaults to everything on medium or high with 4xAA, but I'm slightly oldskool and turn it all down for the extra 5 frames a second. I've also been all through XP turning off unnecessary stuff wherever possible. The GFX card was new last August to keep this wee beastie chugging along.
It's fine mostly and I can cope with playing it when it does lag, but if the entire opposing team rushes the point I'm standing on my display resembles a series of Postcards Of Dustbowl. Playing Medic or Pyro works well.
Might seem strange but I've been getting on alright with it for ages (probably too long), making it the Volkswagen Beetle of gaming rigs - stupidly underpowered but rock solid reliable.
Does not start on cold mornings, much like myself

I've got a flashing box with a worly thing on the side. There are multi changing light on the front and the side fan has lights.
There's usb ports and a plug for my headphones on the front so it's easier to find.
Not too sure about the specs but I have better graphics than tomfin and it's a lower graphics card!!!!

Not after I attach this here Electro-Sapper 3000. Soon you'll be wishing you had a Speccy!
Yeah, Mookey's PC has a 2Ghz AMD 2400+ processor, a Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb and a fancy ASUS motherboard. It doesn't seem much better than mine on paper but she doesn't get drops in frame rate like I do, and "cl_showfps 1" stays above 15 and usually more like 25-30 all the time. I'm certain my CPU is the bottleneck at 1.8 Ghz.
I think it's official - everyone here has a better PC than me.
(Thankfully I've nicked my mate's Pentium 4 3Ghz until he asks for it back next week)

hahahhahaa, I know how you feel tomfin....
We both have the slowest computers, but TF2 is just such a good game that its still great for us.
I want one of these though...
Has anyone get a skulltrail system here (I think NOT) your looking at 8 cores @ 3.2GHz each
and this is what it can run
