So I guess you should chalk my name up on the lists of people with connection related problems.
Out of the blue, my old MSI router has started dropping both wireless and wired connections in every few minutes, thus making simple browsing or emailing impossible, let alone gaming.
Since it has never happened before, I guess its just the age. This router was bought in 2007, and it has been discontinued long ago, so no new firmwares and such. It could be also overheating as its a common problem among routers afaik, but I'm not sure if I want to start dealing with it.
So the discussion is open. What should I buy and why? If you have any experience with playing TF2 hassle-free on Wi-Fi, let me know the specs. Yeah, I am pretty much aware that wireless gaming will probably never be reliable enough but I'm beginning to hate the 15m long patch cable taking over the house.
tl;dr; Gimme a very reliable N wireless router with gigabit ports, personal experiences preferred.
