I have uploaded some maps: ready for the 3rd..
So far we have:

just a thought for tomorrow on #3 for those that want to try something different, could we have an in-game announcement requesting that maps aren't rtv'd off after ten minutes because some people may not like them? defeats the object if we are looking to swap some round on the server when we don't get to play either side fully. rtv is kinda used a lot more that probably needs to be on the #1 - it is just a thought, but changing the map too often doesn't make it fun for anyone - and does also piss some players off who would like to play both sides of a map......

So first of all, it was a fun custom night and thanks for organising it mom!
Slight hiccup over server #3 but glad it got sorted out asap, cheers to team admins!
I think an informal checklist/policy should be formed to ensure things go smoothly the next time round,
eg:
Identify server to run maps on
Set server with 24 + 4 hidden slots
Check !nominate has list
Check rtv works
Check admin rights
Though I mention it again, thanks for sorting out the hiccup asap
With regards to the maps

Crashed upon loading, so I'm not too sure about this map especially if during peak times since it will cause people to lose their spot on the server (we all know how precious thg #1 spots are!)
However I believe some people didnt crash on loading this map.
EDIT: Thinking about it, could potentially be a server issue or it might just be this map. Pretty much needs investigating but that's just me thinking as a dev /EDIT

It feels like koth_nucleus to some degree

#3 is 32 slots if you use the connect/ip :mrgreen:
It just needed a restart to get the server working again :lol:
Ill go ahead and add dogbread to the nominate menu on #1 see how it goes down 8)

dogbread - hilarious ending and also fun pugtug of war map
moonlit - liked this one - unusual twists in it
triplet - that was a very nice cp3 map large enough i think for 28 people without getting stalematey - also worked fine after initial crash, my only concern is that would be ongoing for people - as long as it was just the initial dl i think it would be worth adding
occult - loved this koth map definitely big enough for 28 people
panic - another pl race with environtmental hazards-we know how much slant loves them, fun map
rainbow - meh i love the idea of how the cart went vertical and other wierd directions, but didnt like the look of being in different coloured prison cells, and the sight of gaben at the end of it....eeek no thanks, it needs a better finish than that
corrode - as knigget said not enough signage, didnt like this one so much
clifftop - liked this one - open and big enough for 28 people

Thanks for organizing it! It was a lot of fun and I think nobody will get hurt if we try to do that more often ?
Personally I'd love to see it every two weeks!
Also we noticed that #1 got empty rather fast that day, while everyone else tried to join #2 instead.
Why not just organizing it on #1 next time ? Instant 4 extra slots. Just not on #3 as it has only 18 slots .
Also the map voting and rotation. Perhaps we could have a list of maps that will go through fixed rotation, one after another, instead of voting?
That would get rid of the deal with people nominating regular maps or those that we already played. Once we would get through the list,
we could then replay these maps that people liked the most/ missed them because of being absent or not being able to get on the server.

Corrode I think people would like once they learn the map - which may take a few rounds as it's quite large. fairly open, lots of shortcuts so good for larger team size.
Cliftop and occult were good solid maps.
Panic is ok (usually gets steamrolled by one team) and triplet is stalematey, although not due to chokepoints. The rest are novelty/not ready yet, in my opinion.

Particularly enjoyed plr_dogbread, pl_corrode, pl_clifftop, pl_moonlit, koth_occult and plr_panic and would be happy to see them being trialled in the Server 1 rotation/nominate list.
I agree that the larger payload maps were a bit hard to navigate initially, but this should be less of a problem once they've been played a few times and people have a better idea of where they're going.
It would be nice to have some different payload maps in the rotation, as it seems to be the favoured maptype for most players on Server 1 but I know some people get tired of playing badwater and upward all the time.

Yeah good job Aeryn and Binksy for creating the event that was fun and teamplay oriented.
Personally i'd like to see pl_corrode, pl_clifftop, pl_moonlit, koth_occult and plr_panic added to server 1 map list as this would be a good opportunity to get more feedback and learn the layout and i agree with Derfy and Shake on the fact that once people learn the map, they will enjoy it more. agreed it would be good to see them on the server, i was asked again tonight about putting them on. if we need to take some off, then there are some maps that never get played we could take off.
dogbread has been played each evening since the custom night, could we have the others on with the exception of rainbowride - nightmares of gaben yeuch.
wouldnt be hard to work down the nominate list to find out which ones arent played at all on the server if this needs to be done first.

I have added all custom maps to the nominate "need feedback on the shit ones lol"
We still do have space as we don't use any other game servers or anything else atm however we do have around 50 custom maps which I bet a quarter of them! don't get played or are just not liked so maybe next custom map night or just before we could go through some of them and filter the not so good ones out .
