I think I fixed and updated the maps they should now be the same on both server!
I added or made sure that cp_sunshine cp_metalworks and pl_swiftwater_final1 were all there and also deleted the old customs of said maps..

Can take pl_badwater off the nomination list too, as we have badwater_pro (or take badwater_pro off and keep the original), two is a bit silly.
Also, I don't know if it's possible without being a different kind of server, but can we have Passtime on the THG servers? Not sure if that needs some sort of crazy setup, but it's a really fun gamemode and might attract some pub achievement hunters.

I would advise not to take badwater or badwater pro off as we mostly use the vanilla map to fill up the server, so it allows most regulars who join later to still play badwater pro and not have the map "greyed out" of the nomination list because it's been played recently.
It also help sometimes to refill a server, so basically it's nice to have the vanilla badwater as an emergency mesure.

Kaibz, I think Tinker means that we would only have one badwater version on the nominate list (either badwater_pro, or badwater). This is actually what we had on #1 also.
Both versions are still available on the server regardless of whether they're on the nominate menu. So for filling up the server you can simply type '!map pl_badwater' in chat and it'll change :)
I've heard of Passtime Tinker but I'll be honest, I don't know much about it. I'm sure we could set up the third server to give it a shot at some point.

I would like to suggest fairly straightforward upgrades to two of our 5cp maps:
- cp_snakewater_u10
- cp_granary_pro
More importantly, it is time for the mercenary proletariat of THG to rise against stagnation in the map pool. Comrades, let us restore the honored tradition of new map nights!
I would be particularly interested in trying:
- cp_reckoner, 5cp, beta.
Some other candidates, chosen from a quick skim of tf2maps.com, could be:
- pl_crusoe, alpha.
- pl_shoreleave, alpha.
- pl_mountainside, beta.
- pl_moonbase, release candidate.
- pl_boundary, release candidate.
- cp_upland, Steel-like, release candidate.
- cp_glacier, Gravel Pit-like, release candidate.
- cp_wildlife, 5cp, alpha.
- cp_zinkenite, Dustbowl-like, beta.
- cp_snakewater_u10
- cp_granary_pro

We could definitely use the upgraded version of snakewater, ditch the vanilla granary and use the pro version instead.
Tbh i am all in to add all theses maps as we could really use some new ones, especially payloads.
However Dav, can you confirm that both servers use the same map pools (i mean technically the same files) or could we remove some maps from the pool for the critserver? I'm asking this because, if we can not add new ones because of space requirements ,we can delete some we have, as i know for sure some will never get played.I can make a list if you want
If we add new maps, i'll try to contact the authors and invite them to join us on the server so they can see how they are played, that way, everybody is happy, we get more players on the server and they get feedback of their map.

Its a pretty good command on a database especially in live servers.
We do need a list of maps that are currently in rotation to see which ones to drop, right now I would nominate cp_redfort as a possible contender to be dropped. Its just a melee only map.

Uploading snakewater and granary now. Will look at the others in a bit.
I've uploaded them both but I need binksy to change the the permissions to put it on the nominate menu. It won't let me do it over FTP.

Yes, right now there's a single folder of map files that is used by both servers. I can't tell from FTP how much space we've used and how much there is left, but I don't think we're that close to the limit. I think some general spring-cleaning of maps that won't be played is a good thing though!

I used to be pretty active on TF2maps, so I've played most of these;
cp_glacier is a lot of fun and beautiful, but it's a massive, massive map, filesize-wise, from what I remember, so do with that knowledge what you like. Zinkenite is not done and is never going to be done, it's abandoned. It's not bad but really needed a bit more work.
You might want to wait a little bit with Shoreleave, it's part of the Frontline community update that's currently being worked on, so it gets lots of updates over a small time.
I remember Boundary, Upland, and Moonbase as being really fun, definitely add those

Some quick feedback on Boundary, Moonbase, and Mountainside, which we played yesterday:
pl_boundary has problems. To cap third one must push through a long, narrow and cramped walkway, fighting on which is definitely bothersome; a couple of pyros and engineers can make this point nearly unplayable for attackers. The map seemed otherwise decent, albeit unremarkable.
pl_moonbase feels quite cramped, as a whole. On third and towards last, the cart runs along a narrow corridor around the defender's spawn, requiring much effort to push through. I suspect quite a few players were frustrated by the combination of layout and chokes, although unfamiliarity may be a factor.
pl_mountainside I consider promising, albeit complex. It's a large, open map with an original layout, offering an abundance of routes. I should note that, although we didn't specifically suffer from this yesterday, lines of sight will likely prove problematic when facing unsporting wrangler engies or, more simply, competent snipers; soldiers and demos will also enjoy generous skyboxes. Overall, I'd like to try this again on a full server.

I would definitely recommend Reckoner, and would like to try Upland, or even Glacier.So we do agree to start with cp_reckoner, Boundary, Upland, and Moonbase then?
