We had good run on expert mvm yesterday and I thought I would out some general stuff up about weapons and priorities in mvm expert for the different classes.

1. Scout: milk and fan is important
priorities: 1. collect money, 2. milk tough robots, 3. fan big robots

2. Pyro: Phlog or standard flamethrower is best
priorities: 1. Kill spies, 2. reset bomb and reflect, 3. dmg (improved with phlog)

3. Heavy: brass beast or standard minigun is best
priorities: 1. defend the dispenser, 2. kill spies if there is no pyro, 3. shoot down rockets and pipe bombs with the projectile ability
 
4. Demo: Scottish resistance is bets for stickiest. if your going for pipes lock n load is good
priorities: 1. Sticky trap medics as they drop

5. Solly: buff banner is important
priorities: 1. Provide buff banner to heavies and sentry

6. Engy: Wrangler is good
priorities: 1. provide dispenser, with upgraded dispenser range in a good location, to other classes or they run out of ammo/health, 2. take care of busters away from team, 3. provide sentry to do dmg

7. Sniper: Jarate is important and any gun that can head shot.
priorities: 1. get explosive head shot and kill medics as they drop, 2. jarate large enemies

8. Spy: dead ringer is good/
priorities: 1. sap/kill medics, 2. collect money is no scout, 3. backstab robots!

9. Medic: kritz is best
priorities: the usual.

The best teams usually have 1 heavy, 1 engy, 1 demo or sniper to kill medics, 1 scout, 1 pyro and 1 heavy/solly.

Medic and spy are weak classes in expert as they just dont have the dmg output needed. This makes tanks and large robot waves in expert very hard. In general solly is viewed as the next weakest classes but I think they are fine if they use banner well.

Wow, this is actually great! I've been wanting to play MvM in a party for a long time now.

As I said on that night, I don't completely agree with medic being "weak" class. He's basically essential and without him everything is getting much harder. Pyro or especially secont heavy is class which in several casses are not needed (especially the heavy). With this setup you would have serious problems passing any of the new maps from Two Cities Update.
The essential classes on hard maps are basically engi(dispenser), scout(money, milking and minicrits from fan) and medic(shield and reviving). The rest is usually the heavy, demo and solly or any combination with at least one demo for uber medics.

must admit i enjoyed the expert immensely-thanks klown, i will stick to heavy on that as its just point and shoot Very Happy
