Let's make this thread for the teams and signing up for the tournament and keep the other one for general discussion/suggestions
Link to the general discussion thread: Here
So the plan is to have two teams if we can. Anyone is welcome to sign up as long as they're serious about it! If you say you can maybe play, you're not getting in, sorry There's still two weeks until signups end, so no rush yet!
THG-team:
Binksy
Frozen_
nOOb
Monk1812
SuperTimo
Carlos
MANBEERPIG
axle
Bluefox
Antisankari
Aerynsun
Draken
Buddy: Verostat
Letq's team:
Letq
JJJ
Penttisleijer
jack
abbe
boeuf
zelmor
einthedog
JuanMalote
All team members need to register at http://etf2l.org/ and notify either carlos or letq, depending on which team they are in! You need to input your Steam ID when you register there, see here http://steamidfinder.com/default.aspx how to find your ID out. |

About the rules: http://etf2l.org/rules/highlander-rules/#2
So a roster of 14 people is the maximum! Meaning there's no trouble getting everyone who wants to play, it's just a matter of getting enough people Also "players that have played in division 5 or higher in season 5, 6 or 7 (or the equivalent in any other league), are not allowed to participate, other than as a buddy. Breaking this rule will lead to penalties for the whole team." So don't sign up if you've played in those divisions.
Also we can get to "mercs", players who aren't registered if some people cancel and we can't get nine players. There's more stuff, please read the rules when you have time |

Hey you can remove me from letq's team. I cannot come to the matches because they are really on inappropriate times for me.
I don't want to let anyone down on the way. |

What i just read on ETF2L forums is that 5 hours ago 191 Teams were already signed up for the Highlander Challenge and initially they planned this whole thing for 160 Teams. I guess they will up the Numbers, but I'd still hurry to not end up on the waiting list and hope for teams to fold. |

Edited the teams to reflect latest info.
Slate: I have to wonder, what did they expect after making a big announcement in the official TF 2 blog? Let's hope we can still get in. |

Where did you read this? I thought you had to arrange it with the other team. Thats not a great time for me either, but I would manage I guess |

Should be that every match must be played before a certain date (during a week), the scheduling other than that should be up to the teams - if it works like anything else on etf2l. |

Attention! Every player has to register at the http://etf2l.org/ page! After you've done so inform the team leader (Carlos for team 1 and letq for team 2) and they'll add you to the team. There's been huge interest in the event, so it's no longer guaranteed our teams will even get in :/ But let's hope so! In any case we can play a match between the teams on server 3 some day |
