I was just interested what a lot of your autoexec.cfg had in them just to see if i can make mine work better or there's things i didnt know about lol just wanted to be nosey really Smile

you realise that fov_desired 160 has no effect? 90 is max.

Slate, could you post the sounds?

Haven't bothered experimenting with cvars in TF2. Definitely gonna give the picmip command a go.
Is it possible to turn off smoke trails on rockets?

smoketrrails... not that i know of. Could probably be done with particles, but they wouldnt work on THG with sv_pure 2.

I would advise some of you to try this. you may need to change a few things to reflect to your ping though. like interp as that's my ping 31. Any questions just ask..

I'd like some advice on getting potientally better ping. My ping is absolutely ridiculous on the server. 65-75.
Even on the crappy Quake Live servers I ping better.

I also have a constant choke. Can go up to 20 in firefights. : \

Don't know how relevant this is, but I did a test on both servers with no player(except for the bits)
55 with no players on #1 and 45 on #2. Is the routing different?

oh yeah, what precizion said, i think tf2 looks a lot less cluttered with dx81 mode opposed to dx9

server two is with a different host if memory serves correct, or did we change it? :S If it's with a different host it's at a different location hence different routing ;)

also I've been tweaking my rates recently too as I was getting some choke and hitbox lag, also recently my ping has been awful but that's my ISP. I'm still working on mine to also try and reduce my ping a tiny bit...
