| Well as some or most are aware we have a new module so we can upload pics/imgs to our own box/ssd which should in turn load faster and be more reliable.
To use the module there are 2 ways,
1. It can be found via the home page in the main menu
"or here" this is the full module and allows you too use some settings and manageable options like delete, set as thumbnail check quota etc etc.
To upload with the module you simply click Browse & select "Upload Image" this will then give you the option of 6 links "in total" 3 are for normal restricted size images, and 3 are for thumbnail images "which are small". have a play use preview to test ..
To work correctly on these forums you will need the BB Code options not the html/direct link they are to use on other bits like blogs steam link to a friend is direct etc or maybe other sites.
You can view all your images by selecting the "main" tab/button the other buttons are for settings or viewing your upload quota... That's as easy as that to use this module of course you can still use/post an image of a website within the posting bb code this is just an extra option for those special images :)
2. Now if you are making a post you have direct access to your img account by using the new button found when making a new post,
if you use this button you can upload an image by the same method "just faster" than going to the module it self, you can then manage it later within the module above.
If you want to use a image from another site and don't want to waste any quota and its not essential to load fast then simply use the standard option by selecting "insert image"
I think I covered everything any questions or issues make a reply or ask Dav..
EDIT: thanks shake, if you use chrome and use plugins! you may have to disable Bitdefender Quickscan shake has found this out as the button did not work before this! maybe a java issue or something i don't know but i use noscript for firefox which blocks allot of scripts and java and its still fine fore me, so just a heads up
