You don't have to use the ports for #1 you can also use the search tag = THG to find all THG servers.

For reference..

It is possible to check what is going on on our server's network at https://www.ovh.co.uk/community/status/ our server is in the RBX-2 data centre and connected to the vss-1-6k router.

Use the OVH status and weather map pages to deduce if it's a network fault/congestion issue or not.
