Favourite game as a kid?

I'm trying to think of the game a I played the most as a kid, either MarioKart, Goldeneye or Donkey Kong Country...but my favourite has to be Goldeneye. So new and exciting at the time. Great campaign and the multiplayer was epic!

Hands down, Age of Empires 2. It was a weekly thing to go to my friends place on a friday and set up games with his neighbours and just have 8 hour long games.

Manic Miner on the speccy or Daley Thompson's Decathlon on the commodore 64

A bit later at the arcades I used to love Outrun and Afterburner

Then when I was at college (1991) I spent ages playing Streetfighter 2. I still cannot do a dragonpunch from the right side of the screen.

For me it has to be mariocart on the nintendo DS.I still have the game and DS somewhere_{I think}
But that was when I had a DS so mostly lego. Cool

Probably Rainbow Islands (man I was awesome at that game) or the Dizzy games (collected all of them as they came out, they were such a big deal at the time), both on the speccy.

Closely followed by Diablo 1 / Doom / Quakeworld - the era when lugging your computer to friends houses for lan's was a cool thing to do and online play started to become a reality.

Oh and DaoC (Dark Ages of Camelot). Purely because i met my now Wife in that game and deserves a mention for that.
