Freight or this one WILL be a official map sooner or later  Very Happy

Freight is an awesome, well done, well textured and well balanced map. It won't ever be an official map. So won't this one. They're just too good.

Behold: the random keyboard smash.
If you look closely at the f-r-5-6-y-h letters, you'll see they kind of make a sort of inverted 'U' shape.

That's where mah fist landed.

you will see a lot of test escort cvars :/
is this old?

During TF2 development an escort mode was well in place, all in all similar to the CS VIP mode. When they changed project directions tho, they decided the VIP mode wasn't what they wanted and only catered to a very niche type of players.

Payload maps are the successor of escort mode. This way your team knows where or what your objective is, you know where your objective is,it's easier to focus on the objective (or the area surrounding the objective), and you don't run the risk of the "vip" (the cart) to be a total noob/pillock and run around bashing people with an umbrella.

Played it already. The engine is great. Everything runs great with high resolution textures (yummie, maybe you should learn from that Valve) but it's still ugly because the textures are boring and ugly.
The mutliplayer is still the same concept so you better play older versions. They added really weird and gimmicky stuff to maps (change in gravitation by passing through barriers. Slimy rooms in which the "air" is slim o.O (seriously wtf) making the maps really weird.
It's just a waste of money.
You know what would be more awesome. If we revived Wolfenstein ET with the almighty No Quarter mod with a THG server. Very fun class-based shooter.

Heck no. I loved mah ET, but those pub-mods killed the game. Literally. Most people couldn't stand the new gimmicky overpowered shit and just left for greener pastures. I do however, think that ET:QW needs some more loving.

Having crits off will be a much better game ? I will turn them off then see who moans after yeah!/

If you have low system memory and you hear the disc being accessed a lot, then yes. But not an fps-increase, just few stuttering whenever it starts accessing things off the hard-drive

The ambassador is overall a worse gun the the regular revolver, except at long ranges, but if you intend to kill people at long ranges then you're playing the wrong class.

However, the Ambassador has an undocumented feature (or bug, most likely): It shoots thru people/buildings. I managed to kill an engy turtling behind his sentry just by shooting through it. He didn't have a dispenser tho, because at 46 damage each headshot, a lvl 3 dispenser would heal that right up between shots.

Other than that, it's just awfull. It doesn't even sound/look good.

Ofc there is a reason to farm, just not the same as before.

I've seen AFK'ers earn weapons. Weapons are handed out randomly on a time basis. AFK inside the spawn and you'll get your weapons eventually.

Now isn't that fun?

No Manny thinks that's really not much fun... more fun earning the unlocks... i'm disappointed with value i think thats 1 of the few mistakes they have made. But i still love them .. 5 year old game and they are still supporting it wow.. good work ..  Very Happy

Your sarcasm detector seems to be a little off. Being awarded shit without you having any control on what you get is the worst idea they could've come up with. Here's hoping they'll patch it up.

Also, 5 year old game? TF2 isn't even 2 years old Razz

Oh wow what an amazing fix to the disguises. Also ive always said spies should be able to use teleports, thats bloody awesome!

The only thing im not happy about is how you can headshot with the ambasador. Surely this makes the normal revolver useless.

It takes 2 headshots + a regular hit with the Ambassador to kill a sniper. 4 non-headshots to kill a sniper.

It takes 3 regular shots with the Revolver to kill a sniper.

Also, the Ambassador fires slower. And is ugly as sin. I'm honestly trying to like it, I really am, but diplomacy just doesn't seem to be the way.

Since we're talking Europe here, can someone (preferably either portugese or spanish person) explain to me the difference between spanish and portugese?
Any cultural, historical, social etc. diferences? Language is of course different but what else?

Also mediterranean sea. I prefer côte d'Azur personally but that's just me  Very Happy

We share a bit of the mediterranean sea actually. Portugal's southern border is faced to the mediterranean sea.

Spain was under roman control for longer than Portugal. In the region which is now Portugal, there was a goth tribe (Lusos, hence why Portugal is also known as Lusitania) who gave the romans a bit of a run for their money, before eventually being conquered. Most of the language differences come from there, even tho portuguese has more connections with Latin than spanish.

Spain and Portugal are two different countries. We got barely anything in common, tbh. Portugal achieved independence from Castella (ye old spain) about 1300 years ago. We colonized (parts of) africa, they cried to the pope. We colonized brazil, they cried sum moar. We shunned some crazy lunatic called Collumbus, he cried to the spanish and he just happened to land on America when the spanish king couldn't keep his women in line. Oops.

Best analogy i can think of is England and Scotland, except we have no higher, errr, "alliance". We even hate eachothers guts.

Faulty processor or motherboard.
Swap banks around, try running both sticks on previously unused memory banks. If it works, one of the old banks is probably dusty or outright damaged.
Run them in both single or dual channel if that didn't fix it. If it runs perfectly fine on single channel, but not on dual channel, your motherboards memory controller went faulty or corrupted. updating the BIOS usually fixes this, but your motherboard could be dieing if it's old.
last resort, download a program called OCCT ( ) This is an overclocking program that checks for processor stability. With a single stick at a time, try running both CPU OCCT tests for 30 minutes or so. Run it with a large data set. If no errors occur, try with both sticks.

In the case of an error, any error, your processor is having stability issues and is likely failing to access memory somewhere over the 1gb range. If overclocked before, you may want to turn it down. If not, check what your motherboard has set for default values for your processor and memory clocks, voltages, and speed multipliers.

One time I had an asus motherboard in for repair. It mis-detected an E3something for a 45nm CPU and was setting it's VCore at nearly 1.7v.
Hooooooooooooooo wee, makin' bacon!
