shame as it is a fun thing to do ....i guess the alternative is just to remind people 12 only per game or something like that


The other thing we could do is if we're going to have a 'prophunt night' or similar, we could alter the server slots to be 12. At least that way it would force the teamsize but would be harder to connect

I've had a look at the prophunt config, but I don't see any config for setting the maximum number of players  Sad Can it definitely be limited?

I've tentatively placed a test version onto #1 which will display the client who nominated the map. It passes the limited testing I've managed to do, but for now I've only rolled it out onto one server to keep an eye on it.

Unfortunately the best way to test it is with a full server, but I'm also nervous that I may break something which prevents map voting, which would be less than ideal.

I can revert the change very easily tonight at the first sight of issues.

Probably yes. However this wouldn't be handled directly by the plugin I changed, as this was just for the nomination of maps. The actual votemap menu containing nominated maps is handled by another Sourcemod plugin so I'd need to tweak it.

As long as sourcemod doesn't limit the length of menu items (to avoid taking up too much screen space, for example) it should be do-able.
